Digital printing. To help exhibiting artists acheive the best results, we exceed industry standards and offer the highest quality, resolution and vibrance through using a 12 colour print head. We are presenting printing large format up to 44"(1118mm) wide on an Epson 9560 and 17"(432mm) wide on an Epson P5070. It uses Epson’s latest UltraChrome® HDX all-pigment aqueous ink for accurate colour with an enhanced gamut, Dmax and image durability.
Profile generation. Many artists now own smaller format printers to pre-flight their work and refine before generating their final exhibition prints. Print profile generation ensures that artists are able to attain consistent results on multiple print stocks and multiple printers.
Monitor calibration. With so many artists working in digital and mixed media formats, accurate representation of colour and tone is an area of increasing importance. We use the the latest professional calibration to ensure all monitors at /PrintSociety offer accurate representations of your files. Monitor calibration ensures that what the artists sees and what the printer see are one and the same, and ideally with as few surprises as possible. We currently use the xRite i1 system.
Scanning. For artists working in photographic film media, /PrintSociety offers high resolution flatbed scanning from the most modern equipment. We offer scanning of 35, 120 and large format up to 8x10 on Epson v600 and v850 Pro units. Files can be scanned at 6400dpi.
Exhibition support. At /PrintSociety we can support exhibiting artists with exhibition design, visualisation, and documentation. We can generate 3D digital models of your exhibition site, scale and position your work to allow you to better understand how to present your work.
